Overview

CONTROL PLUS is a highly concentrated caustic cleaner and degreaser ideal for industrial, commercial, and institutional settings, especially for kitchen equipment like fryer grill hoods and ovens. Approved for USDA-inspected meat plants, it’s suitable for foam and steam cleaning, and safe for use on ferrous metals. Its formulation includes surfactants, dispersants, emulsifiers, and high foaming agents to lift tough grease, oils, and carbon. With water softeners and wetting agents, it efficiently addresses water hardness, providing a powerful solution for challenging cleaning tasks.

Directions For Use

  • Foam Cleaning: Dilute 2-5 ounces per gallon of hot water. Apply evenly to surfaces needing cleaning. Allow a contact time of 5-10 minutes, then scrub with a brush or pad. Rinse thoroughly before the solution dries, from top to bottom to prevent streaking.
  • Pressure Washing/Steam Cleaning: Mix 2-6 ounces of Control Plus per gallon of hot water. Apply with equipment, allowing sufficient contact time for the solution to penetrate soil. Agitate as needed with a brush or pad. Rinse from bottom to top thoroughly, ensuring solution does not dry on the surface.
  • Oven and Grill Cleaning: Use Control Plus at full strength or diluted 1:1 with water. Apply using a foam type trigger sprayer. Let stand for 2-5 minutes, then wipe off and rinse well.
  • For USDA Inspected Meat Plants: Remove or cover all foodstuff. Dilute 1-2 ounces per gallon of hot water. Apply to surfaces with a brush or sprayer, soaking for 3-5 minutes. Agitate heavy deposits, then rinse with potable water. Follow up with a suitable sanitizer.

NOTE: For use on ferrous metals only. Do not use on galvanized metals, aluminum or other alkali sensitive surfaces as damage may occur. Avoid contact with painted surfaces.

ABOUT OUR BRAND

Abernathy Company began as Ralph Brothers Laundry in 1898 serving Texarkana, Arkansas and Texas consumers. The initial venture into the chemical business was made to reduce costs in the laundry business; however, as word got out about the high quality of those first products, others began requesting to purchase our growing product line, and thus the fledgling manufacturing enterprise was born. Although our primary customer base resides regionally, we also serve customers nationwide and internationally. Today, we manufacture hundreds of products from four exclusive brands: Abernathy, Ralph Brothers Detail, Magic Cast, and GotDog products. With 125 years of experience, Abernathy and our exclusive brands are known for offering dependable products and services year after year.
