Jet Wash AM is a versatile low-foaming powdered detergent for safely cleaning various metals like aluminum, zinc, and babbit. Ideal for recirculating spray wash units and hot vat wash cabinets, it effectively removes grease, grime, dirt, and oil without harming machined surfaces. Its blend of buffered alkalies, soil-suspending agents, detergents, and emulsifiers ensures efficient cleaning and degreasing while controlling foam levels for mechanical cleaning processes. With an industrial-grade formula emitting a fresh orange scent, it’s a multipurpose cleaner suitable for diverse applications.

• Spray Cabinet Cleaning: For routine cleaning: Dissolve 1/4 to 1 pound of Jet Wash AM per gallon of water at 100°F or lower. For heavily rusted/encrusted metals: Use up to 1 1/2 pounds per gallon. Heat solution to 160°F - 200°F for optimal results. Follow manufacturer’s operating instructions. Use rinse cycle or manually rinse parts.
• Vat Cleaning: Dissolve 1/4 to 1 pound per gallon of water, adjusting for soil level. Heat solution to 160°F. Immerse parts until clean, with time varying by temperature, soil, and concentration. Agitation enhances cleaning. Rinse with hot water. Coat parts with oil to prevent rusting.
• Steam Cleaning and High Pressure Washing: Mix 1/2 to 1 cup per gallon of water. Apply with a steam cleaner, adjusting dilution based on soil amount. Rinse thoroughly after application.

ATTENTION: Never add powder to hot water or solution to prevent boil-up or splatter. Cool solution to 100°F or less before adding powder, stirring slowly to mix.
