Overview
OVEN CLEANER is a versatile, highly concentrated cleaner designed for a wide range of cleaning tasks, particularly effective on kitchen equipment like ovens, grills, and fryers. It combines powerful builders, dispersants, emulsifiers, high foaming action, and water softeners to efficiently remove grease, oil, and baked-on substances. Suitable for industrial, commercial, and institutional use, including USDA-inspected meat processing facilities, it ensures easy removal of tough residues on ferrous metals.
NOTE: Not intended for use on aluminum, magnesium, zinc or other soft metals. DO NOT apply to painted surfaces. Clean off any over spray or dripping on floors promptly.
Directions For Use
For cleaning ovens, grills, hoods, and other ferrous metals in industrial settings:
- Foam Cleaning for Regular Buildup: Dilute at a rate of 64 ounces per gallon of hot water. Apply to all surface area to be cleaned. Allow contact time agitating with a brush or pad. Rinse thoroughly from top to bottom to avoid streaking.
- Extreme Buildup: OVEN CLEANER may be used full strength to tackle challenging cleaning tasks. Apply the cleaner directly by brushing, spraying, or immersion. Keep the surface wet with the solution for about 20 minutes, avoiding drying. Use a brush or scrubbing pad to agitate the cleaner on the surface. Wipe away loosened soil with a sponge or paper towels. Repeat the application on heavily soiled areas if necessary.
- Post-Cleaning: After cleaning, wash the surface with dishwashing detergent and water to remove any remaining cleaner. Rinse thoroughly with potable water to ensure all detergent and cleaner residues are removed. For ovens, reheat for 10 minutes to eliminate any residual odors.
ATTENTION: This container is hazardous when empty. Since empty container retains product residues (liquid or vapor) all labeled hazard precautions MUST BE OBSERVED.
