Overview

PEEL is a versatile, low-odor, concentrated acid cleaner and descaler effective against lime, rust, and hard water scale on a variety of surfaces including iron, steel, copper, brass, porcelain, brick, concrete, aluminum, galvanized and soft metals, as well as painted surfaces. It’s suitable for both heavy and daily cleaning tasks, authorized for use in USDA-inspected food processing facilities. Its economical formulation and broad application range, from metals to bathroom tiles, make it a practical choice for efficient cleaning and descaling.

Directions For Use

  • For All Applications: Saturate surface with proper dilution for 3 - 5 minutes but do not allow the solution to dry. Agitate with a nylon brush or scouring pad and rinse with clean water. Repeat as needed on heavy soil. Wear rubber gloves and eye protection when handling.
  • Aluminum, Galvanized, Stainless Steel or Bathroom Tile: Dilute 1:3-6 parts water. Spray on and rinse off. Soak 1 - 2 minutes, if needed.
  • CIP Descaling: Dilute 1:5-10 parts water. Circulate through system for 5 minutes. Flush system thoroughly with water 3 to 4 times before use.
  • Descale Washing Machine: Determine the total machine water capacity. Add acid detergent to the machine in the ratio of 1:20 capacity. Run machine through complete cycle. Drain. Run machine through complete cycle again.
  • Descale Processing Equipment: Remove or cover all food before use. Clean equipment in usual manner with a USDA authorized cleaner. Rinse with potable water. Dilute 1:5 with water. Thoroughly wet equipment with solution. Soak 3 to 5 minutes. Scrub with nylon brush or scouring pad. Rinse with potable water. Apply suitable sanitizer.
