Hot Shot (40 Pound)
Overview
HOT SHOT is a cost-effective, powerful laundry detergent ideal for manual washing, capable of handling heavy soils and leaving laundry with a fresh citrus scent. Its formula combines surfactants, alkaline builders, and water softeners to effectively dissolve soils and ensure easy rinsing. Designed to remove a wide array of odors and stains, HOT SHOT includes optical brighteners and anti-redepositing agents, ensuring laundry comes out clean and fresh under various conditions.
Directions For Use
- General Application: Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of HOT SHOT per 10 pounds of dry fabric. Select a wash cycle from normal to heavy-duty based on soil levels. Use HAWK DESTAINER for tough stains.
- Pre-Soak Application: Dissolve 1 1/2 to 2 pounds per 100 pounds of fabric in water for a pre-soak solution. Soak laundry for 1-24 hours depending on stain severity, then wash with the Abernathy Company Laundry System, adjusting HOT SHOT dosage accordingly.
- Heavy Soil Loads: For extremely soiled laundry, increase to 1 cup per 10 pounds of fabric and repeat the rinse cycle.
- Additional Usage Tips: HOT SHOT is low-sudsing; excess use won’t increase efficacy. Use hot water (120°F to 140°F) for whites, when possible, but cold to warm water is also effective. Check garment labels for maximum wash temperatures, especially for colored fabrics, and avoid overloading the washer.
