Overview

STRIP is a concentrated, non-ammoniated wax remover that effectively breaks down old floor finishes across a variety of floor types, including both resilient and non-resilient surfaces. It features a user-friendly formulation that minimizes irritation and includes alkaline boosters for enhanced cleaning power. Designed for flexibility, it can be used straight for tough jobs or diluted for lighter tasks. However, testing on a small area is recommended to avoid potential damage to certain floorings. STRIP offers quick penetration and easy rinsing, making it an efficient choice for floor maintenance tasks.

Directions For Use

  • Dilution: For light wax buildup: Dilute 32 ounces per gallon of water. Hot water is recommended for better results. For heavy wax buildup: Increase the concentration to 64 ounces per gallon of water.
  • Application: Apply the diluted solution liberally to the floor surface using a cotton mop, blended mop, or an automatic scrubber, depending on your available tools. Allow the product to stand for 3 to 5 minutes. The solution will begin breaking down the floor finish, forming a slurry.
  • Agitation: For manual applications, agitate the wet surface with a mop to completely break the bond of the finish. For machine applications, use a low-speed floor machine equipped with an aggressive stripping pad to agitate the surface.
  • Removal: Vacuum up all the liquid slurry from the floor. A wet vacuum is most effective for this step. Rinse the floor thoroughly with clear water to dilute and remove any remaining old floor finish and solution. Repeat if necessary. Test the surface to ensure all residues have been removed.

Note: Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
