Overview

METAL SHINE EFC is a high-quality, metal interlock acrylic floor finish and sealer containing 25% solid particles, ensuring a durable, crystal-clear, and ultra-bright finish. Designed for long-lasting wear, it resists streaking, trailing, and yellowing, maintaining its appearance for up to three years with proper use. Suitable for various floor types, including vinyl, ceramic, and terrazzo, it covers 1,500 - 2,000 sq. ft. per gallon and serves as an effective sealer for enhanced floor protection. Additionally, METAL SHINE EFC 25 meets slip resistance standards, making it a safe and efficient choice for heavy traffic areas.

Directions For Use

  • Preparation and Application: Remove old wax and finish using a product like Strip or Ambush. Ensure the floor is cleaned and free residue. Apply 3 to 4 thin coats with a mop or microfiber pad. Allow each coat to dry before applying the next, typically between 30 to 45 minutes. Extend drying time in high humidity for maximum gloss.
  • Maintenance: Regularly damp mop or scrub the floor with a mild detergent to clean. Periodically spray, buff, or burnish the floor to maintain gloss, remove scratches, scuffs, and heel marks. For enhanced shine or when showing wear, apply an additional coat after thoroughly scrubbing and rinsing the floor to remove soil. Limit to no more than 10 coats before complete stripping and reapplication is necessary.
  • Burnishing: Regularly burnish high-traffic areas for shine, to restore shine and remove scuffs. Use high-speed burnishing for the best results.
  • Stripping: When necessary, strip the old finish with a recommended stripper like Strip or Ambush, following the product’s label directions. Rinse the floor thoroughly with water before reapplying.
